Fresh Leaf Indigo & Tatakizome in the Hudson Valley

Last weekend’s workshop at Farm & Field in the Hudson Valley was a joyful blend of plant-based color, creative play, and connection to the land. We explored fresh leaf indigo dyeing and tatakizome (flower pounding), foraged on a sun-drenched walk, and shared a delicious farm lunch under old trees. From vibrant silks to flower pounded cotton, the day was full of experimentation, beauty, and beginner’s mind.
